Mr. Mohamed Doma is a Senior Partner who has significant expertise in developing and implementing strategic processes and initiatives. Mr. Doma has worked extensively with many private and public organizations in many countries including but not limited to Canada, the United States, several European countries and throughout the GCC. Some of Mr. Doma’s past clients include the Simon Fraser Health Region, many cancer centres and emergency service organizations throughout several Canadian provinces, many provincial health authorities, many community-based public health agencies, etc. Mr. Doma has also been instrumental, serving as the Chief Negotiator, negotiating collective agreements with provincial and national unions in many different industries. He has represented employers in arbitration hearings and employment tribunals and has negotiated with The Canadian Union of Public Employees, Ontario Public Service Employees Union, Ontario Nursing Association, Nova Scotia’s Union of Public Employees, Health Sciences Association, Hospital Employees Union, BCNU, UFCW, and other unions.
Through his acute ability to mediate disputes and facilitate discussions, while protecting the interests of all parties, Mr. Doma has been requested on numerous occasions to mediate and facilitate discussions regarding sensitive issues. He has also been asked to lead discussions and facilitate the successful integration of services within many public and private organizations, ensuring a cohesive consolidation of efficient and effective public health services for the greater good of the population served.
As a dynamic and motivating speaker, Mr. Doma has developed and facilitated a series of leadership programs, as well as leadership curriculum for several public sector organizations, assisting with and facilitating career management strategies, as well as succession planning strategies that assist with the development of future leaders in many different industries. Mr. Doma has also facilitated and successfully run many annual conferences, attended by leaders from all over the world in many different industries, who attend to gain greater knowledge on human resource strategies, as well as recruitment and retention methodologies, with a focus on understanding that an organization is stronger through the support of its valuable human resources and operational teams.
Mr. Doma’s other experiences include his employment with such large organizations as the Ford Motor Company, Fibreglass Canada, Simon Fraser Health Region, and Halifax Regional School Board. During his career, he has held several directorships within various departments, serving as many as 36,000 employees.
Presently a senior consultant, Mr. Doma’s clients include those from both the private and public sectors. His clients rely on and seek his expert counsel, diplomacy, strategic planning abilities, and mediation and facilitation services of sensitive and political issues. Mr. Doma is currently focused on assisting his clients to develop innovative ways to address their critical human resource shortages, utilizing years of experience and expertise in human resource management.
