Dr. Jill Sporidis brings over 25 years of business experience in a vast array of industries as a consultant in non-profit and governmental organizations, as well as medium and large-sized private corporations. She has also extended her expertise to Board level work for the past 15 years as a visionary executive leader with extensive expertise in operations management, organizational and corporate development, program management/performance measurement, staff empowerment, service optimization, and solutions delivery.  Dr. Sporidis is considered to be a subject matter expert proficient in conducting workplace investigations, team building strategies, staff management/retention, policy & procedure development, problem resolution, risk management, and healthcare recruitment strategies using innovative market solutions.  Dr. Sporidis is a client-focused, driven leader able to successfully orchestrate complex relationships and work environments, fueling great partner loyalty with little to no channel conflicts.

 

Dr. Sporidis’ professional healthcare industry experiences are extensive and include working with a division of SAI Global in Ontario, which was acquired from the Canadian Standards Association (CSA).  In this capacity, Dr. Sporidis managed all healthcare quality services globally, working with many hospitals in the implementation and registration of quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards.  Dr. Sporidis also managed ongoing partnerships with external organizations and service providers, and has been actively involved in advisory committees in the development of new accreditation survey requirements, such as sterilization, reprocessing, and point of care testing. Dr. Sporidis has extensive expertise in qualitative research on the lived experiences of front-line healthcare workers, as well as population-level health research, and has successfully lobbied for equitable health services for disadvantaged populations throughout her career. Dr. Sporidis also has significant experience in the design and delivery of health programming in primary, secondary, and tertiary care and is passionately committed to gathering data and other evidence to inform the future development of health policy that is culturally-appropriate and relevant for the population served.

 

Dr. Sporidis has held various senior leadership positions including serving as the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Wood Buffalo Primary Care Network within Alberta Health Services for almost four years. Dr. Sporidis has also served the Metis Nation of Alberta Government in the capacity of Director for the Ministry of Health, Children, & Youth, responsible for the design and delivery of all health services programming to the Metis population of Alberta. Dr. Sporidis also served as the Chief Executive Officer of an Oil and Gas Subcontracting firm for four years.  Dr. Sporidis is currently focused on supporting clients through bully and harassment complaint investigations, as well as assisting several clients both locally and internationally with policy development and implementation in HR, as well as workplace safety and operations. several clients globally.

   

Dr. Sporidis’ formal education includes an undergraduate BSc degree, a graduate degree in Health Services Administration, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration in Global Management. Dr. Sporidis was conferred with a Doctorate of Business and Health Administration degree, specializing in Leadership, Finance, and Communications, in 2014.
